Action for Thursday, 3/20/25

MANY thanks to our Senators for resisting the so-called “Department of Government Saturday, April 5th: We’ll ALL have our say from coast-to-coast!
No matter where you are, anywhere in America, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 5th, a little over two weeks from now. April 5th is the next National Day of Action, set aside for marches, sit-ins, and other peaceful protests aiming to
- Remove corrupt politicians from office,
- Reverse the damage, and
- Reclaim our democracy.
Portland’s April 5th event, on the National Day of Action (with our local focus of Remember-Resist-Rebuild), is noon to 4pm, at the Japanese American Historical Plaza in Tom McCall Waterfront Park near the Burnside Bridge. There’s also a march starting there at 1pm. It’s all sponsored by 50501Portland – to Remember the past, Resist the present,
